Objective and ambition
The purpose of the research center is to create a social science research capacity with the building process as the object field. Our ambition is, by 2010, to have established theoretical and evidence-based knowledge in support of the planning and structuring rationales characterizing contemporary building practice and dominating the contents of educations in the industry.
Further, it is our ambition to generate and communicate knowledge that may convince actors in the building industry to adopt new perspectives on their practices. Therefore, we are working on developing novel ways of defining the problems of the building industry and looking for solutions in areas that we don’t traditionally look.
The objective and ambition are thus to create the knowledge foundation for strategic efforts of developing the Danish building industry.
